Privacy Policy
Last Modified: July 11, 2026
The Law Offices of Bilal M. Siddiqui, PLLC ("the Firm", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information we receive through www.bilalslaw.com (the "Site"), including through our “Contact” or similar page. It also describes your choices regarding that information.
This Privacy Policy is not a substitute for, and does not create, an attorney-client relationship or any duty of confidentiality that arises from one. Please see the confidentiality notice in Section 6 below before submitting sensitive information through the Site.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page along with a revised "Last Modified" date. Your continued use of the Site after a revised Privacy Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, you may contact us using the information in Section 11 below.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us. You are free to browse the Site without providing any personal information. If you choose to contact us through our Contact Us page or a similar inquiry form, we collect the information you submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and a description of your legal matter.
Information We Collect Automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring website, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit ("Usage Data"). We use Usage Data to operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to understand how visitors use it.
Sensitive Information. We do not ask visitors to submit Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the Site. Please do not include this type of information in a Contact Us submission unless we have specifically asked you to and have established an engagement with you.
Children's Privacy. The Site is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
● respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether the Firm may be able to assist you;
● check for conflicts of interest before agreeing to represent a prospective client;
● operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
● communicate with you, including about your inquiry or, where you have agreed to receive them, updates from the Firm;
● comply with our legal and professional obligations, including recordkeeping obligations under the rules of professional conduct; and
● detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents, fraud, or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the information you submit through the Site with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information as follows:
● Service Providers. We may share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, or IT support. These service providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
● Legal and Safety Reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm, our clients, or others.
● Business Transfers. If the Firm were to merge with, or transfer its practice to, another firm, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable rules of professional conduct governing client files and confidentiality.
● With Your Consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies to help the Site function, to remember your preferences, and to understand how visitors use the Site (for example, through analytics tools). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
5. Your Privacy Choices
Access, Correction, and Deletion. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted through the Site, subject to our legal and professional obligations to retain certain records (for example, records relating to a conflicts check or an engagement).
Marketing Communications. If you have opted in to receive communications from the Firm that are not related to an active or prospective legal matter, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in those communications or by contacting us directly.
California Privacy Rights. Depending on the volume and nature of personal information we process, certain California privacy laws may apply to our practice. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents with questions about their privacy rights may contact us using the information in Section 11.
6. Confidentiality and the Attorney-Client Relationship
Submitting information through the Site, including through the Contact Us page, does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not, by itself, make the information you provide confidential or privileged. An attorney-client relationship is formed only through a signed engagement agreement with the Firm. Until that relationship is established, please avoid sending confidential, privileged, or time-sensitive information through the Site. Submitting an inquiry may also create a conflict that could prevent the Firm from representing another party in a related matter, so please limit the detail you provide to what is necessary for us to evaluate whether we can assist you.
7. Data Retention
We retain information submitted through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, to maintain records of prospective and former clients as required by applicable rules of professional conduct, and to comply with our legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last Modified" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
